Editor-in-chief: Wan Xing
Wan Xing, respectfully known as Master Wanxing, was born in 1971 in Hubei Province. At the age of 18, he ordained as a monk at the Nanputuo Temple in Xiamen. He graduated from the Minnan Buddhist Academy at the age of 22. In pursuit of the profound mysteries of Buddhist teachings, he undertook three extended retreats between 1993 and 2000, totaling seven years of intensive meditation and practice. After emerging from retreat, he authored the book The Moon in the Heart, which has had a significant impact in the Buddhist community and has been reprinted several times. He currently serves as the President of the Buddhist Association of Wengyuan County, Guangdong Province, and as the abbot of the Donghua Temple in Guangdong. In 2005, due to his long-standing dedication to public welfare, he was honored with the title of "Charity Star" by the People's Government of Guangdong Province.
